On September 4, 2025, the Graduate School of Economics and the Faculty of Economics signed an industry-academia collaboration agreement regarding DX talent development with Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and Tohoku University Knowledge Cast Co., Ltd.

1. Promoting DX Talent Development at Tohoku University through Career Development Support at Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc.
   Implementing internships providing practical experience, such as data analysis using Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc.’s data.

2. Promoting DX Talent Development at Tohoku Electric Power Utilizing Tohoku University’s Educational Programs.
   Implementing DX courses for Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. provided by Tohoku University.

3. Promoting and Communicating Industry-Academia Collaboration and Co-creation through Talent Exchange
   Exploring co-creation projects through industry-academia collaboration.
